The Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce, a sponsor of the Electra Business and Innovation Awards 2021, welcomes the Horowhenua business community to join its membership and attend regular business and networking events.

Monique Leith, Chamber Co-Chair says as a sponsor of the Awards, finalists receive a free Kāpiti Chamber membership as part of their prize and there are several members based in Horowhenua.

“We welcome Horowhenua businesses to join us for the great benefits and to come along to an event in future. We run a variety of events throughout the year. They’re a great chance to collaborate with local business owners, hear interesting speakers and make great connections from Kāpiti and beyond. Recently we had over 250 people at our International Women’s Day event with inspiring speakers including our MC and Leadership Specialist, Sally Duxfield, who owns and runs Outdoor Pursuit Centre, Makahika OPC.

“As a business owner and resource management planner, I find it’s a great way to learn from others and to network,” says Monique Leith.

The Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce exists to advance the economy by creating wealth and employment and solve local business issues by providing a collective voice for business in Kāpiti. Over 300 members in Kāpiti belong to the Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce to stay connected, network and gain knowledge and support from our local membership.
