Top Kapiti Businesses Host Labour Leaders

Kapiti Coast Tuesday 10th May 2016 – Kapiti impressed Labour Party Leaders Andrew Little and Kris Faafoi on Wednesday with a tour of selected Kapiti leading Businesses.

Included in the tour was Kapiti’s fast growing web development company Web Genius and Kapiti’s local Brewery, Tuatara Brewing.

The tour, hosted by The Kapiti Coast Chamber of Commerce was an opportunity to showcase Kapiti as a great place for businesses and provide an opportunity for local businesses to raise issues of local concern with key politicians.

“The Kapiti region is really in the spotlight as a place with huge growth potential. We need support from current and future governments through their regional economic development policy to make the most of our potential,” says Kapiti Coast Chamber of Commerce Chair, Liz Koh.

The event was well received with Andrew Little promising to come back soon to see more of the Coast and who was particularly interested in developments on the Expressway.

Chamber members were also invited to the exclusive event, for a tour of both businesses which included a tour and tasting at Tuatara Brewing along with a morning tea, catered by local catering company Creme Cuisine.
