YOUR ELEVATOR PITCH
When explaining what an Elevator Pitch is, it is often helpful to start out with a definition:
“An informal, extremely short and pithy version of a sales pitch, business plan or product/service overview, designed to get a conversation started.”
Some tips to consider:
- Keep your pitch at a high level.
- Look to answer fundamental questions like:
- What is it?
- Who needs it?
- Why should I believe what you say?
The goal of any pitch is not to close the deal, instead, get a conversation started to convince the listener that your idea/product/service is something they need to know more about.
