The Kapiti Chamber of Commerce invites Members and Non Members to their Women in Business programme to celebrate its 10th birthday.
Guest Speaker: Steph Dyhrberg, 2018 Wellingtonian of the Year and finalist, 2018 Women of Influence Awards in the Diversity Category.
In keeping with the celebration theme, Steph will talk about ‘how she keeps going’, how she celebrates and remains focused on getting things done that she wants to achieve. She will offer her perspective and thoughts on the power of women in business – how we come together, stay together, work together and empower each other to be the best we can be.
There will be cake and bubbles to celebrate our 10-year milestone and we will be hosted and catered at the gorgeous venue of Sudbury in Te Horo. Lunch will be two courses, a chicken main with side dishes followed by dessert. There will be a vegetarian option and gluten & dairy free will be incorporated where possible.

About Steph Dyhrberg | Partner, Dyhrberg Drayton Employment Law

Steph Dyhrberg is a partner at Dyhrberg Drayton Employment Law, a specialist employment law practice in Wellington. She has 27 years legal experience and prior to joining forces with Johanna, Steph practised as a sole practitioner for 6 years. Steph previously worked for Russell McVeagh Wellington, as a Crown Counsel in the Employment and Education team of The Crown Law Office, and as an employment lawyer for human resources specialists Right Management Consultants (formerly Greene Hanson, and The Empower Group).
Steph is a Vice President of the Wellington Branch Council of the New Zealand Law Society and Convenor of the Wellington Women Lawyers' Association. She is a Trustee of Mary Potter Hospice and a Director of the Mary Potter Apartment Company. Steph is also a member of the judging panel for the Electra Business Awards.
Steph is recognised as a highly effective senior employment advisor and advocate, and she is a sought-after speaker. She is a frequent commentator on radio and in the print media and publishes articles on employment law topics. She has developed a specialist expertise in undertaking independent investigations and reviews.
At the beginning of 2018 Steph was appointed the inaugural New Zealand Rugby Independent Complaints Service Manager. In June 2018 Steph was appointed as a member of the Government’s Fair Pay Agreement Working Group by the Hon Iain Lees-Galloway, Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety.
Steph is a Patron of the Kauri Theatre Company and performs with a fun girl band, The Retro Divas.
