Chris Wilkinson is the Managing Director of First Retail Group - a specialist strategist that works with consumer-facing organistions and destinations to interpret opportunity, drive performance and navigate risk. The award-winning company is based in Wellington and operates globally.
Chris leads the company’s major projects and is a trusted advisor to Corporates, Boards, Financial Organisations, and local and central Government organisations.
Chris has built up a strong track record of designing and delivering the consumer-facing elements of complex transformation projects including large-scale city and town centre retail masterplans, city block redevelopments, transit-oriented developments and public realm upgrades
A recognised thought leader and industry champion, Chris speaks regularly at retail and property conferences and is a respected commentator on trends in the sector.
With a background in commercial strategy and consumer insight, Chris has delivered projects for clients across Australasia, United Kingdom, USA, Dubai and the Pacific Islands.
Chris' family have a holiday home in Waikanae and he is a regular visitor to the Kāpiti Coast.
