Changing Wellington’s Local Governance – Opportunity or Risk?
Fran spoke passionately and strategically about where Wellington needs to head over the next 20 years from a local governance perspective so we can stay connected at a national level. Her presentation also covered the transition process if amalgamation occurs and where the Commission is currently at.
It is likely that a final proposal will be ready soon for a public poll where 50% or more valid votes are needed to support the proposal.
