Kāpiti Coast Chamber Key Partners

Why become a Key Partner of the Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce? Together we will achieve more, and businesses grow through collaboration!

From November 2018 Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce has a 3 tier partnership structure.

National Partners: are negotiated on our behalf through Auckland Chamber of Commerce. Our membership benefits on specific products they offer.

Our second tier is Key Partners.

Right now we have Key Partners within a range of business sectors. Key Partners have the exclusive partnership association for each specific sector, and may only support one sector.

Our third tier is Marketing Partners. This tier is related to the service sector, and the same exclusive association applies as with Key Partners. Media Partners are also featured in this sector.

These very special relationships are further developed through regular meetings with our Business Development Manager to ensure the partnership is mutually beneficial, through activation's that will add value to the partnership. This can be achieved through special member offers, the sharing of knowledge and expertise, or hosting business seminars.

Partners can often bring key note industry specific speakers to the region, or supply articles and informative material for dissemination to the chamber membership and the wider Kāpiti business community.

We highly value the relationship that we have with all our partners, and we work together through Advocacy and Representation to “Help Kāpiti Business Grow”.

Coastlands offers customers convenient shopping, offering over 80 amazing stores under one hub.

Coastlands is located on State Highway 1, one hour’s drive north of Wellington, 25 minutes north of Porirua and 35 minutes south of Levin.

Coastlands primary catchment area of 53,200 encompasses the area from Otaki in the north to Paekakariki in the south. Our secondary catchment area runs from Levin in the north to the Porirua basin. Encompassing some 95,000 people.

Coastlands has evolved over the years and the most recent refurbishment was completed in 2012. The tenancy mix includes national brand tenants as well as strong regional and independent traders. Due to its historical uniqueness of being one of New Zealand’s first shopping centres, Coastlands enjoys a very strong connection to the community and have secured naming rights sponsorship for the Coastlands Aquatic Centre, the Coastlands Kapiti Sports Turf, the Coastlands Kapiti netball centre and the Coastlands theatre at the Kapiti Performing Arts Centre. The strong sporting and arts focus throughout the community enhances these connections.

The Kapiti Community is very much family orientated and the demographics reflect this. It closeness to Wellington provides employment opportunities and is very much within the commuter belt for the city. The coastal location provides young families with an ideal environment in which to thrive. There are 14 primary schools and 3 secondary schools in the region.
