SAW KCC BusExpo 1 of 132

A first of its kind trade expo consisting of 17 local Kapiti businesses, showcased Kapiti’s diverse and growing business community last Wednesday 27th July.

The expo held from 5.30-7pm was hosted by The Kapiti Coast Chamber of Commerce as part of its ‘Business After 5’, monthly business networking activity.

The event, which was well received, attracting over 90 registered attendees proved a popular format, consisting of trade expo stalls, mixing and mingling, wine, beer, nibbles and prizes.

Local business owner and attendee Marc Hamilton from Cover Yours Insurance said: “It’s good to see aspirational Kapiti businesses presenting themselves in a format that is professional and engaging. This type of event fills me with confidence that I’ve made the right decision starting my own business in Kapiti, I have no doubt this is a growing community.”

The Kapiti Coast Chamber of Commerce created this event to show what Kapiti has on offer within the business community and for local businesses to take advantage of the regional business support network.

The event hosted at Southward Car Museum is expected to grow next year and be expanded to include the downstairs venue so keep an eye out for this in the future.
